Tim Cope

Tim Cope

Town Councillor

Tim is a relative newcomer to Framlingham, having moved earlier this year into the town. He has worked within education for over 20 years, specialising as a Maths teacher, however, he has worked as a Housemaster for the past nine years. Tim has worked in both state and private education in 5 different schools across London and the South East. Tim is a strong believer in the value of co-curricular activities as well as that which is taught in the classroom. He enjoys inspiring (hopefully!) the next generation and enjoys hearing about their exploits after school.

Outside of work Tim enjoys playing Tennis, being a member of Framlingham Tennis Club, as well as spending time with his wife, two children and four dogs. Tim is also a commissioned officer in the RAF Cadets and enjoys helping young people recognise their potential, whether it be in the forces or learning transferrable skills.

Tim is looking forward to helping Framlingham be the best place it can be, celebrating the past of the town as well as preparing it for the future. He is keen to give back and has been blown away by the friendliness of the town since moving.
