Christmas Lights Event

The loss of key Town Councilors and a shortfall in the number of essential volunteers means that unfortunately last year's magnificent Christmas on the Hill event cannot be repeated on the same scale this year.

However, there will still be a Christmas event in 2024. Father Christmas has confirmed that he will devote a whole afternoon of his busy schedule entirely to Framlingham and rumour has it that he may even be found walking on the Castle Walls around 2pm- not a sight to be missed.

To celebrate this, there will be free live music on the Market Hill and free admission to Framlingham Castle and the Lanman Museum for residents of the town (with ID proof of address) and a Charity Raffle in aid of the Framlingham Guides & Scout Group with generous prize donations from businesses across the town.

All this will take place from 2:30 until 5:30 on Saturday 23rd November. The afternoon will culminate with the switching on of the Christmas lights in Market Hill.
