Come and join FRESH Explorers! Our Explorers are encouraged to organise and run the termly program themselves with support and guidance from the leaders. Activities are more wide ranging than in the younger age groups with a focus on life skills, seasonal activities, and opportunities in sport and self-development. We also attend an annual summer camp with the Scouts and further opportunities to travel arise through the district program.
Whilst Fresh Explorers is a district group, and accepts Scouts or Guides from the area including Debenham and Leiston, we are closely linked to 1st Framlingham Scouts and Guides and meet at their HQ on Badingham Road. Those who have never been to Scouts or Guides are also very welcome to join!
The section also includes the Young Leaders' Scheme, where young people are able to take on a leadership role in one of the younger sections of Scouts and Guides. We currently have a group of 8 boys and girls aged 14-17 who attend every other Wednesday (to allow time for studies) between 8.15 -10pm.
